This episode is all about Feadship! That's because there is a lot to tell and discuss, and... Coco and Anna get to give something away on the podcast for the first time, and it is immediately super exclusive! Namely, a tour of one of Feadship's shipyards. Why is that special? Because no one is allowed to snoop around, and privacy is mega important to Feadship.
Coco and Anna talk to Marc Levadou, Knowledge & Innovation Manager at de Voogt Naval Architects for Feadship. He discusses why Feadship is a leader in yacht building, the latest innovations, the 'Nemo Lounge', why Feadship also keeps an eye on what is happening in the automotive and aerospace industries, what the future holds, and how cool it is to work with colleagues who go to extreme lengths to make almost impossible requests possible (and thus possess a Do or Die mentality). What a company! Coco shares her connection with Feadship, talks about her visit to the Kaag and the newest location in Amsterdam, and a visit aboard the Lady S, the first superyacht with an onboard IMAX theater. They also speak frankly about everything Feadship has to offer students, young professionals, and experienced people. Because there is always room for talent at Feadship. Sooooo… Enjoy and check out MaritiemeVacaturebank.nl for inspiration, vacancies, how to win a tour, and everything Feadship has to offer.
After completing his Master's degree in Marine Engineering at TU Delft, Marc went to work at Marin, where he worked for 13 years. Eventually, he joined Leadship in 2007. He started there as an Engineering Project Manager and subsequently became Manager of Projects, where he had 10 project managers under him. In 2017, he joined a brand-new team at Feadship. Together with a team of six, he formed the Manager Knowledge & Innovation team. In this role, he is responsible for the innovation strategy and the realization of various innovation and management projects.
