Incident Analyst

As Incident Analyst within QHSE, you help Van Oord continuously improve its safety performance. You review and analyze incidents, observations, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts across the organization. You support investigations and help teams identify root causes and effective corrective actions. You also make sure valuable lessons are captured and shared. By combining safety knowledge with data, you provide insights that support operational excellence, compliance and risk reduction. Your work gives teams the information they need to improve.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Administering and maintaining the incident reporting and investigation system.
  • Reviewing incident reports for completeness, quality and consistency and ensuring correct classification.
  • Monitoring investigations and following up on overdue corrective actions.
  • Analyzing incident and HSE performance data to identify trends, recurring issues and emerging risks.
  • Maintaining dashboards, KPI reports and monthly, quarterly and annual QHSE performance reports and providing recommendations based on your findings.
ABOUT YOU
  • Three to seven years of experience in QHSE, safety, risk management, marine, offshore, industrial, construction or energy environments.
  • Experience with QHSE reporting systems, databases and incident management software.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Office 365.
  • You have good command of the Dutch and English language.
