Managing Director – Damen Marine Components
Damen Marine Components (DMC) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Managing Director to lead its international organization based in the Netherlands (Hardinxveld-Giessendam), Germany, Poland, China and other key markets. As the driving force behind DMC's operations, commercial growth and strategic development, you will combine strong leadership with business acumen, technical credibility and a highly approachable leadership style.
The Opportunity
As Managing Director, you hold full responsibility for the company's performance, including profitability, growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will lead the next phase of DMC's development by strengthening execution, accelerating innovation and ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining DMC's entrepreneurial culture. Working closely with both local management teams and the Damen Maritime Ventures Division, you will successfully balance commercial ambition with corporate governance.

The Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced business leader with a proven track record in managing complex international organizations. You combine strategic vision with hands-on execution and are equally comfortable discussing commercial opportunities, operational performance and technical challenges. You are decisive, pragmatic and able to create clarity, focus and momentum.

· Proven P&L responsibility and (>5-10 years) experience delivering business growth.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing, marine components or technology-driven businesses.
· Commercially savvy with a strategic mindset.
· Authentic people leader.
· Skilled stakeholder manager who builds trust and alignment.
· Readiness for a long term commitment.
· International leadership experience and cultural awareness.
· Ability to drive change while preserving engagement and accountability.
