DeRegt Cables is -and has been- a prominent name in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered, specialty, dynamic or static cable solutions used in subsea applications. Job Summary

As Production Planner, you ensure that our medium- and long-term production plans are predictable and achievable. You translate orders and quotations into an integrated plan covering cable production, termination, quality inspections, qualification, testing and warehouse activities. In doing so, you carefully align capacity, materials and delivery dates.

You maintain the overall view, identify constraints before they affect progress and bring the right departments together to take corrective action. Through clear analysis and reliable performance data, you help Operations and management make well-informed decisions.


About the Team

You will work within Supply Chain Planning and collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Work Preparation, Customer Service, Sales and Maintenance. In this central role, you connect commercial commitments with the capabilities of the production floor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and adjust the medium- and long-term production plan for cable production, termination, quality inspections, qualification, testing and warehouse activities.
  • Coordinate production capacity by aligning the availability of employees, machines, materials and required maintenance.
  • Provide reliable delivery dates for quotations and orders and monitor whether agreed delivery dates can be achieved.
  • Identify planning risks and capacity constraints at an early stage and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with the relevant departments.
  • Lead the weekly planning review with Production and communicate planning changes and their operational impact to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Work Preparation to ensure the timely availability of materials, raw materials, components and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate order and planning data in the ERP system and ensure that internal and external changes are correctly processed and followed up.
  • Collect, analyse and report production and efficiency data, including pre-calculation and post-calculation results, and propose improvements to production efficiency and planning processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Minimum number of 5 years of relevant experience in production planning within a technical manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning methods, capacity planning, production and assembly processes and standard production times.
  • Technical understanding and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare reliable forecasts and interpret production and efficiency data.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining accurate planning and order information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of relevant company, quality and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Production, Quality, Purchasing, Work Preparation, Customer Service, Sales and Maintenance.
  • Good verbal and written command of Dutch and English, at a minimum CEFR B2 level.
  • A structured, accurate and proactive working style, with the ability to remain effective when priorities or production circumstances change.

Preferred:

  • CPIM certification or comparable knowledge of production and inventory management.
  • Experience with Visual Manufacturing or a comparable manufacturing ERP system.
  • Experience in planning quality inspections, qualification and testing activities.
  • Experience working in an international, technical or project-driven manufacturing organisation.
