SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Are you a natural multi-tasker? Being a Superintendent at Mammoet means you will need to be skilled in balancing customer expectations, overseeing team members and ensuring the right equipment is in the right place ready to undertake work safely and effectively.

This role is a salary-based position on a 8:6 Roster FIFO roster from Perth. Whilst onsite, you will be responsible for the Mammoet crew that will be supporting all maintenance and projects works onsite for FMG Iron Bridge.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Maintaining operational excellence in line with customer requirements

  • Overseeing teams to carry out work safely and effectively

  • Ensuring works are conducted within scope and budget

  • Executing and overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and personnel

  • Upholding high safety standards

  • Coaching and mentoring of the workforce


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5 years supervising experience in crane and rigger operations in a mining industry
  • Previous experience in a Superintendent position

  • Crane and transport knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Strong decision making and people management capabilities

  • Ability to be resourceful and draw on team members technical expertise

  • Ability to build and supervise a strong team

  • Schedule 26 or equivalent qualification
