Deme
We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer with a strong interest in AI‑assisted and agentic development to strengthen our internal engineering team.
You will work on business‑critical applications, combining maintenance and modernization of existing systems with the development of new solutions. The role is backend‑leaning, but you are comfortable working across the full stack—from .NET APIs to React frontends and deployment pipelines.
You enjoy solving complex problems, working independently, and taking ownership. You think beyond implementation: how systems evolve, scale, and deliver long‑term value.
At DEME, we are actively adopting AI‑augmented engineering practices. You will help shape this transition by integrating tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kimi or similar agents into daily workflows—using them to accelerate development, improve quality, and rethink how software is delivered.
Build, maintain and modernize .NET applications and React frontends, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
Work in an AI‑augmented workflow: use coding assistants and agentic tools to design, implement, test and document features faster and more reliably.
Structure tasks, prompts and codebases so agents can generate, refactor and validate components with minimal friction.
Review and improve AI‑generated output to ensure architectural coherence, security and long‑term maintainability.
Identify and implement agentic automation opportunities (scaffolding, test generation, API integration, data transformation, legacy modernization).
Translate business requirements into scalable solutions and take ownership from analysis through deployment.
Contribute to DEME’s evolving engineering practices, share knowledge, and help shape how AI‑augmented development becomes standard across teams.
Ensure quality through testing, CI/CD, code reviews and modern engineering discipline.
Experienced full‑stack .NET engineer with strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs and React.
Comfortable working in an AI‑assisted and agentic development environment from day one.
Able to structure tasks and codebases for reliable agentic generation, and skilled at critically reviewing AI output.
Understands when automation accelerates delivery — and when manual engineering is required.
Familiar with Git, CI/CD and modern cloud‑native practices (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift are a plus).
Strong analytical mindset, ownership mentality and interest in architecture and technical direction.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
An extensive mobility program for a healthy work-life balance.
A permanent training track which allows you to develop yourself personally and professionally.
A stimulating, innovative workplace with growth opportunities.
A people-oriented environment with an interactive health program and a focus on employee wellbeing.
