• Accountant (Tax & Compliance)Working at Mumbai, India

Mammoet India is seeking an Accountant with strong Tax and Compliance experience to support ongoing tax assessments, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit activities.

• Manage tax compliance activities relating to Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, FEMA, and Transfer Pricing.
• Support tax assessments and government audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with tax consultants and authorities.
• Perform accounting activities including reconciliations, journal entries, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and taxation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
