Role Summary: The : Senior Accountant- USA &UK supports the Group Finance Lead – USA/UK/Europe in overseeing and managing all aspects of finance operations for the  USA & UK region. This includes ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable management, cashflow monitoring, and supporting audits. The role also acts as a key liaison between the Regional Finance function, Shared Services Center, and local business stakeholders to ensure finance operations are delivered efficiently, in compliance with Group policies, and aligned with business needs. |
| Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CA Inter /CMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in multinational or shared services environments desirable.
- Strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP Â will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

| Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Operations Support
• Assist in managing day-to-day finance operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash/bank transactions for the country.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Review and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and Group accounting policies.
• Coordinate with the Shared Services Center for transactional accounting.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports for country operations.
• Assist Group Finance Lead in variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast and highlight key drivers.
• Support Group Finance Lead in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in alignment with regional and Group guidelines.
• Provide insights to the Group Finance Lead on country-specific financial performance.
3. Compliance & Audit
• In consultation with Regional Finance Manager, ensure timely filing of statutory returns (taxes, corporate filings, etc.) in compliance with local laws and Group policies.
• Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation.
• Monitor adherence to internal controls and recommend improvements where needed.
4. Cashflow & Treasury Support
• Monitor daily cashflow and banking operations at the country level.
• Assist in preparing cashflow forecasts and working capital analysis.
• Coordinate with the Group Finance Lead and Group Treasury team on fund requirements and payments.
5. Business Support & Liaison
• Act as a point of contact between the local business teams, Shared Services, and Regional Finance for resolving finance queries.
• Provide support to commercial, sales, and project teams on finance-related matters including invoicing, contract compliance, and expense management.
