As Chief Officer on board our Jack-up vessels, you are in charge for the navigation team in a 12 hour watch under supervision of the Captain. Serving as the Captain’s right-hand person and acting as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient Jacking operations and deck management.
Your responsibilitiesYou co-ordinate the daily deck operations
You supervise the deck crew
You are in charge of Jacking operations
You implement the DEME safety procedures and VMS
You organize emergency drills
You analyze incidents and follow up on audits
You are responsible for navigation and the voyage planning
You keep the ship’s log and the records up to date
You are responsible for ballast operations and waste management
You assist with mobilizations and repairs
You hold a valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate license
You have proven Jacking experience
You have strong leadership skills
You are proficient in English
You are willing to work in offshore rotations
