Senior Service Technician

Job Details

Responsible for maintenance, calibration and repair of Seaflex Buoyancy and Water Weights equipment. Assist with load tests using Water Weights bags, rigging and load cells. The role will also require the person to visit client sites to complete on site work scopes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Ideally qualified to inspect and recertify lifting accessories to regulatory requirements (Loler qualification or equivalent). A holder of forklift and crane licenses preferred but training can be provided. Full driving license. LEEA preferable - training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities• Assist in the preparation of equipment to meet the required standard and specified deadlines.
• Assist in the efficient running and operation of the workshop and equipment storage facilities ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
• Carry out all relevant activities as required by the Operational Manager
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas to perform load test if required after having built up sufficient knowledge and experience with application of Water Weights & Buoyancy products.
• Active commitment to QHSSE, including compliance with QHSSE Policies, and supporting documentation contained within the Integrated Management System, as well as adhering to and reporting to management on all aspects of the QHSSE Management System.
• STOP an activity, at any time, if believed to be unsafe or failing to meet the relevant QHSSE requirements.
