We are looking for an experienced and deadline driven Junior Bookkeeper to support busy finance team with bookkeeping and administrative duties.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Debtors

Generate pro-forma invoices, tax invoices, credit notes and customer statements
Check sub-contractor and employee expense claims and compile recharge invoices
Allocate deposits from customers
Maintain customer master files and customer database
Reconcile customer accounts
Constant communication with customers and outstanding debt collection

Creditors

Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, and controlling against company policies
Communicate with suppliers, sub-contractors and employees relating to invoices and expenses
Maintain supplier master files and supplier database
Sort, file and scan supplier documentation and keep electronic filing system

Administration

Support with administrative duties
Assist with travel arrangements – booking of accommodation and car rentals
Answer the telephone.

Desired Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Recognised tertiary bookkeeping qualification is a minimum
At least 5 years proven hands-on working experience in a finance department in a corporate company in a bookkeeping role
Service industry experience is an advantage
Advanced MS Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams and Microsoft Office 365 skills
Computer Literacy with working experience on accounting software like Sage.
Previous working experience in services industry in Certification and Inspection is an advantage i.e. Global GAP, BRC, FSSC, Siza.
Working understanding of VAT and accounting principles.
