Job description

As an Experienced Wind Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wind turbines. Your main duties will include:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance and regular inspections of wind turbines and components, adhering to all safety regulations and work instructions.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faults to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Assembling components and main parts in compliance with established procedures, including the safe use of internal or external cranes if needed.
  • Participating in workplace safety inspections on job sites.
  • Performing a range of electrical tasks, including electrical connections, fault analysis, and maintenance.
  • Handling various mechanical duties such as assembly and maintenance of mechanical components.
  • Submitting requests for necessary materials and specialized services in consultation with the regional foreman, while ensuring that all team members comply with quality, safety, environmental, and technical standards.
  • Providing on-site support for specialized projects and assisting suppliers as needed.
  • Completing administrative tasks, such as creating service reports and keeping accurate records of materials used for each turbine.
Job requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in the wind industry as a technician, with a foundation in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
  • Additional hydraulic experience is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluency in English, Dutch or French proficiency is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license (Class B or B-E) is essential.
