Job description

As an Experienced Wind Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wind turbines. Your main duties will include:

Conducting preventive maintenance and regular inspections of wind turbines and components, adhering to all safety regulations and work instructions.
Troubleshooting and repairing faults to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Assembling components and main parts in compliance with established procedures, including the safe use of internal or external cranes if needed.
Participating in workplace safety inspections on job sites.
Performing a range of electrical tasks, including electrical connections, fault analysis, and maintenance.
Handling various mechanical duties such as assembly and maintenance of mechanical components.
Submitting requests for necessary materials and specialized services in consultation with the regional foreman, while ensuring that all team members comply with quality, safety, environmental, and technical standards.
Providing on-site support for specialized projects and assisting suppliers as needed.
Completing administrative tasks, such as creating service reports and keeping accurate records of materials used for each turbine.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Proven experience in the wind industry as a technician, with a foundation in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
Additional hydraulic experience is an asset.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Fluency in English, Dutch or French proficiency is a plus.
A valid driver’s license (Class B or B-E) is essential.

MARITIME

50 years of history in manning ships, we provide crew for tugs, multicats, coasters, containerships and jackup vessels. IN 2018 we had in towage, offshore and dreding an average of 232 seafarers a day working through us. CSC crewing provides qualified crew members of all ranks in the maritime industry. We know that highly trained and reliable seafarers are the core assets of all successful companies and we can provide the right match. Our offices in Vlissingen, Lithuania and the Phillipines have created a loyal pool of seafarers in the 50 years that we are in business.

PROJECT STAFFING

We provide project based staff for longer and shorter periods. On and offshore riggers, welders and crane operators, we can supply you with qualified personnel.
