As a Project Management Officer, you will play a key role in improving processes, supporting project teams and making the best use of project management tools. Your RoleAs a Project Management Officer, you will support the project teams within sectors such as Offshore Energy and Dredging Solutions. You will ensure that projects can rely on clear working methods, efficient tools and a structured flow of information and documentation. In this way, you will actively contribute to the further development and professionalisation of the PMO’s operations.
You will have the opportunity to work on complex and varied projects and play a key role in improving and standardising the way projects are managed. In doing so, you will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders and other colleagues.
Your responsibilities:
What do you need to have?
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and, ideally, have experience working in a project environment. You work in a structured manner, have an analytical mindset and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Power BI or similar platforms is an advantage. You also have a good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an added bonus.
You will mainly be based at our office in Aalst, with scope for flexibility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help drive the further professionalisation of the PMO’s operations. You will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders and management, and will be given the freedom to take the initiative and make a tangible impact on the way projects are supported.
