Tax Manager (fulltime/parttime)

At Royal IHC’s head office in the Netherlands we have an opening for a Tax Manager with extensive knowledge of corporate income tax law, transfer pricing and an equal amount of hands-on experience.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tax Manager to join our international tax team, based in Kinderdijk. This role focuses on International tax consequences of a project driven business, managing and coordinating tax compliance and reporting processes across multiple jurisdictions and transfer pricing with strong emphasis on process improvement, digitalization and strategic support. You will be part of a dynamic team in which you will be reporting to the Head of Tax.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide high quality (international) tax advice on cross-border tax issues in relation to Royal IHC’s international projects.
  • Monitor and implement the company’s transfer pricing policy and ensuring compliance with local documentation requirements.
  • Review and monitor corporate tax compliance obligations across all jurisdictions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist local finance teams with local statutory tax disclosures and tax reconciliations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of tax compliance processes.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to drive process improvements, optimize tax efficiency and digitalization of the tax function;
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assist with determining the impact on the company’s financial statements and tax positions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective communication and cooperation on tax-related matters.

You have:

The ideal candidate is a motivated tax professional, looking to develop further within a fast-paced international environment. You are technically strong, have a broad understanding of corporate income tax matters, are pragmatic, and enjoy a role where you alternate between hands-on tax work and strategic tax thinking.

To be successful in this position you:

  • Have a bachelor or master degree in Tax law or Fiscal economics;
  • At least 6 years relevant working experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently;
  • Have a valid EU work visa;
  • Love taxation!

Royal IHC offers you: 

  • A gross monthly salary between €5700,- and €8354,- +8% holiday allowance (based on a fulltime working week).  
  • Good work/life balance with 40 vacation days (for full-time employment) with the option to buy or sell (additional) leave.

  • Possibility to work from home, for which you receive a net expense allowance of €2.45 per day plus a one-time net payment of €750 to set up your home office.
