Location: At equipment yard (base), with frequent travel to workshop, Delft office, and mobilisation sites.

Job Summary:

The Equipment Maintenance employee is responsible for ensuring that all company equipment is prepared, maintained, and tracked efficiently. The position requires technical expertise, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to safety and operational efficiency.

Reports to: Procurement and Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Preparation: Preparing equipment for projects and ensuring it meets operational standards.
  2. Maintenance Management: Performing regular maintenance on all equipment, including steel, construction units, and subsea sensors, etc.
  3. Asset Tracking: Managing and tracking equipment in and out of the workshop, yard, and project sites.
  4. Return Checks: Verifying the return and condition of equipment after use.
  5. Workshop Management: Organizing, maintaining, and overseeing all workshop activities.
  6. Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate stock records, performing inventory checks, and controlling asset availability.
  7. Documentation: Keeping detailed maintenance logs, asset reports, and workshop records.
  8. Emergency Preparedness: Participating in safety drills and responding appropriately to incidents in the workshop or yard.
  9. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards and ensuring all maintenance tasks follow proper safety protocols.

Key Requirements:

  1. MBO-level education or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
  2. Practical experience in the maintenance of equipment, ideally steel and/or subsea equipment.
  3. Experience working with offshore equipment, electrical equipment, and hoisting materials is ideal.
  4. Desired courses/certifications: ‘keuren Elektrische arbeidsmiddelen volgens NEN3140’ and ‘keuren Klimmaterieel, Hijsmiddelen en Valbeveiliging’ would be a bonus. Forklift course, and BHV/First Aid course would also be ideal.
  5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Knowledge of asset management, inventory control, and workshop operations.
  7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Proficiency in basic technical tools and equipment maintenance software is a plus.
  9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  10. Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures.
