As Chief Officer on board jack-up vessel, you are in charge for navigation team in a 12 hour watch under supervision of the captain. serving as the captain’s right-hand person and acting as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient jacking operations and deck management.
Your responsibilitiesCoordinating daily deck operations
Supervising the deck crew
In charge of jacking operations
Implementing safety procedures and VMS
Organizing emergency drills
Analyzing incidents and following up on audits
Navigation and voyage planning
Keeping the ship’s log and records up to date
Responsible for ballast operations and waste management
Assisting with mobilizations and repairs
You hold a valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate license
