Summary

As Chief Officer on board jack-up vessel, you are in charge for navigation team in a 12 hour watch under supervision of the captain. serving as the captain’s right-hand person and acting as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient jacking operations and deck management.

Your responsibilities
  • Coordinating daily deck operations

  • Supervising the deck crew

  • In charge of jacking operations

  • Implementing safety procedures and VMS

  • Organizing emergency drills

  • Analyzing incidents and following up on audits

  • Navigation and voyage planning

  • Keeping the ship’s log and records up to date

  • Responsible for ballast operations and waste management

  • Assisting with mobilizations and repairs

Your profile
  • You hold a valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate license

  • Jacking experience  

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Proficiency in English

  • Willingness to work in offshore rotations
