Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam (DSR) is onderdeel van de Damen Shiprepair & Conversion groep. Vanuit onze werven in Schiedam en de Botlek werken we aan grote en complexe scheepsreparatieprojecten voor internationale klanten. Deze dynamische projectomgeving gaat gepaard met verschillende uitdagingen: Uiteenlopende scopes, strakke deadlines, grote budgetten en snel schakelen met projectteams, opdrachtgevers en subcontractors. Voor deze omgeving zoeken we niet alleen technisch specialisten, maar juist ook financials die energie krijgen van projectbeheersing, kostenanalyse en het adviseren van projectteams.
The Role
Als Cost Engineer ben jij de financiële spil binnen onze projectorganisatie. Je werkt nauw samen met de Project Manager en bewaakt de financiële voortgang van projecten van start tot facturatie. Je houdt dagelijks financiële overzichten bij, verzamelt en analyseert kosteninformatie, stelt begrotingen op, en rekent meer- en minderwerk door, stelt de eindfactuur op en licht kosten toe aan onze klanten.
Hoewel je opereert in een technische projectomgeving, draait jouw rol primair om financiële analyse, risicobeoordeling en kostenbeheersing. Technische kennis leer je bij ons in de praktijk – financiële scherpte breng jij mee.
In deze rol ben je de financiële rechterhand van de Project Manager en lever je directe impact op het rendement van projecten.
