Damen Marine Components (DMC) ontwikkelt en produceert hoogwaardige systemen voor de voortstuwing, besturing en manoeuvreerbaarheid van schepen. Denk aan straalbuizen, lieren, bedieningssystemen en stuur- en roersystemen. Onze producten worden wereldwijd toegepast in onder andere de binnenvaart, offshore, zeevaart, marine en superjachtbouw.
Naast nieuwbouw levert DMC ook service en ondersteuning via een internationaal 24/7 servicenetwerk. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat de installaties van onze klanten betrouwbaar blijven presteren. DMC is onderdeel van de Damen Shipyards Group.
De functie
Als Werkvoorbereider zorg jij dat productie en service goed voorbereid aan de slag kunnen. Je vertaalt technische tekeningen en schema’s naar duidelijke stuklijsten, controleert of alles compleet is en zorgt dat materialen, onderdelen en documentatie op tijd beschikbaar zijn. Daarmee voorkom je vertraging en help je collega’s in de uitvoering om hun werk goed en efficiënt te doen.
Je bent de schakel tussen Engineering, Productie, Service, Warehouse, QA/QC en Planning. Je kijkt niet alleen naar wat er technisch nodig is, maar ook naar wat praktisch werkt op de werkvloer. Voor serviceklussen zorg je dat alles klaarstaat voor de Field Service Engineers. Bij eerste productie of wijzigingen leg je verbeteringen vast in de as-built revisie, zodat fouten niet terugkomen en processen steeds beter worden.
