In this role, you will oversee installation engineering, site management, and project‑related purchasing, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery in a global environment. Would you like to work closely with project teams and site operations across multiple offshore installations?

Coordinate installation engineering and site activities

As Head of Installation Management, Offshore, you are responsible for aligning installation engineering, site management, and project purchasing within the regional HUB. You ensure readiness, compliance, and quality throughout project execution, working closely with Project Execution and Supply Chain functions.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Support project planning with input on feasibility, sequencing, and risks
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements

The position is based in Karlskrona and reports to VP Offshore, Fredric Holmgren. A hybrid setup is possible but we expect the person on the position to have a continuous presence in Karlskrona. Regular travel to project sites is expected, including multi-day visits.

Experienced professional within installation and site execution

You are a structured and pragmatic professional with a clear communication style and the ability to manage complex situations across technical and site environments. You maintain focus in fast-paced settings and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. You contribute to a safe and quality-oriented work culture and support team development and engagement.

You also have:

  • Experience from installation engineering, site management, or project execution
  • Experience coordinating technical and site-based teams
  • Understanding of HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with project purchasing or procurement interfaces
  • Relevant technical education (engineering or equivalent)

In this role, you will work in an international setting with close collaboration across functions such as Project Execution, Supply Chain, and site operations. About NKT

Our company at a glance

In a globalised and interconnected world, with a rapidly increasing population and demand for a modern lifestyle, the need for power is constantly growing. At NKT, we have made it our purpose to bring power to life by helping meet the growing need for energy.

Founded in 1891, during the second industrial revolution, we pioneered the cable industry in the Nordics. Today, we master the fourth industrial revolution with our energy transportation expertise and cost-effective manufacturing facilities at the highest technological level, delivering lifetime value to our customers and the global society.

Trusted partnerships

We take pride in long-term relationships and effortless collaborations, making doing business with us simple, convenient, and efficient. Many of our customers have been with us for decades, maybe because we see ourselves as both their local partner and international supplier, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the right cable solution.

Performing in real life

The environments in which our products and solutions function are often harsh and unfriendly. Laying down a long sea cable on the ocean floor in an unexpected storm or repairing 100-year-old power cables in the ground of a busy metropolis is not for everyone. We know that performance counts in challenging circumstances, and that is when we deliver.
