About the role: Material Coordinator

We’re looking for someone who can connect technical documentation, material planning, and project execution into one smooth process.

You’ll fit if you have experience in production, logistics, technical planning, or Supply Chain coordination, and feel confident working with technical documentation and material flow. If you can coordinate across engineering, procurement, warehouse, and project teams, proactively monitor material availability and deliveries, and enjoy working in a dynamic project environment – this offer is for you.

The purpose of this role is to support project and construction activities through effective material coordination, technical planning, and logistics support. The material coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation and Bills of Materials, coordinating purchasing requisitions, monitoring material availability and deliveries, and maintaining close cooperation with engineering, procurement, warehouse, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key accountabilities

  • Reviewing and verifying technical documentation and drawings
  • Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM) and identifying gaps in scope of supply
  • Generating purchasing requisitions based on BOMs, MTOs, and input from construction sites
  • Monitoring logistics and planning material deliveries for construction sites
  • Supporting construction sites by collecting and analyzing technical information
  • Coordinating and communicating effectively with engineering, procurement, the central warehouse, and project teams
  • Tracking material availability and proactively addressing potential delays

Skills & experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in a production environment (shipbuilding is a must)
  • Experience in technical planning, scheduling, or logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&ID and arrangement drawings
  • Experience with Supply Chain processes is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (IFS / SAP is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Language proficiency: Polish & English at least at B2 is a must.
