HR Support Officer

IHC HR Support - part of our HR Service Centre located in Kinderdijk - has just implemented the HR system called Workday. As a HR support officer, your primary role will be to respond to questions that employees, managers and HR business partners have regarding this system. In addition, you will be required to answer questions regarding internal regulations and collective labour agreements (CLAs). Together with the team, you will be responsible for any HR administration relating to the inflow, mobility and outflow of more than 2,500 employees in The Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • answering all questions relating to Workday via phone, email, skype and in person
  • handling other questions on HR-related topics
  • generating standard reports
  • keeping staff records up to date
  • proactively thinking about how to improve work processes
  • dealing with any other business requests that may arise.

Requirements
To be eligible for this entry-level role of HR support officer, you must have:

  • a senior secondary level of education (MBO) in HR management or equivalent (minimum)
  • experience in a similar position
  • experience of Workday (desirable)
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc)
  • an excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal
  • an independent, reliable and highly service-oriented mindset
  • a valid EU work visa.
