Condition Monitoring Engineer
As a Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for providing condition monitoring services for mainly dredging and offshore vessels owned by our customers. We integrate online condition monitoring systems in the new ships that we design and build. Furthermore, we prepare and execute condition monitoring programmes (including online and offline measurements) that support our customers’ operations. You will be responsible for the successful execution of complete condition monitoring programmes. This will involve early contact with the internal or external customer, through to the preparation and execution of the hardware devices onboard, setting up databases, take measurements and performing analyses. In addition, you will produce reports and advise our customers with regard to their critical equipment. Data analysis concerns mainly vibration, but other CM techniques will also form part of the programmes.
To be eligible for the position of Condition Monitoring Engineer, you must have:
- previous experience as an engineer with a secondary level of education (MBO) or be a starting engineer with higher vocational level of education (HBO) in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or other relevant technical discipline
- a vibration analyst category 2 (or higher) certificate according to ISO 18436-2 (desirable)
- a hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills
- a general interest in analysing data and turning this into tangible actions
- a service-minded, proactive, creative and flexible attitude
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- the ability to work in Kinderdijk, The Netherlands
- the ability to occasionally travel abroad.
