Internship/Graduation Assigment: Functional decription vessels
Using a practical survey to generate documents such as:
- Control & Monitoring Description
- System Architecture Diagram
- Instruction book Installation work
IHC has been supplying standard ships for a number of years, such as the ED3700 series, but due to operational pressure, we have never managed to document this properly. As a result, too much information is lost over the projects, leading to unnecessary costs and loss of time. By delivering the 3 mentioned documents it becomes for all departments concerned; Sales / Engineering / Service & Warranty a lot easier to reuse solutions from the past.
This is a unique opportunity for a student with an interest in the maritime market to record the functioning of a ship at "high level". There is a lot of freedom within this assignment for personal interpretation of work, working hours and working at home. In addition, the intensive consultation with colleagues in the company provides an extra dimension.
To be eligible for this position, you must have the following:
- be in your second or third year of a HBO degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- have an enthusiasm for new technology
- have the ability to plan your own work
- have the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels
- have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
