Project Management Internship
As an intern, you will be actively involved in the project management team (PMT) of a 24MW self-propelled cutter suction dredger. You will be key to achieving excellent cooperation, and connecting all the technical and human factors, specifically within the Production department. To do this, you will make use of the resources and processes available within IHC's clusters and departments.
Your main focus will be to give support so that the work package production is executed within OSBIT (on specification, on budget and in time) conditions. To do so, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the level 4 production planning.
In addition, you will help to mitigate any technical and financial risks on a strategic, tactical and operational level. During the project, you will learn how to maintain a strong relationship with the customer and several other (internal and external) stakeholders. Aligning contrary interests is key and you should be able to build mutual trust, as well as ensure that the correct decisions are taken at the right time.
To be eligible for this position, you must be:
- studying a HBO or WO in engineering project management
- able to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
- proactive and enthusiastic.

As an Intern you will work in the Engineering department within IHC Shipbuilding. The Shipbuilding group engineers and produces complex custom-built and standard offshore and dredging vessels.
