Your future role

Ensuring the smooth operation, monitoring and performance optimization of the SAP systems

Main contact person and management of SAP support (ECS)

Administration, creation and configuration of SAP clients

Technical integration of additional modules and SAP functionalities into the SAP landscape (S/4HANA & SAP Cloud solutions)

Coordination of external service providers and support with projects

Documentation of all technical processes (e.g. job creation), system settings and operating information

Setting up systems/clients according to project requirements, e.g. setting up central job control and monitoring jobs, creating prerequisites on the BTP for DMS connections, setting up mail dispatch system in cooperation with infrastructure

Release and deployment management incl. installation, configuration, upgrades and patches

What you bring to the team

Completed studies in (business) informatics or engineering, alternatively training as an IT specialist (m/f/x) in IT administration or systems engineering

At least 2-3 years of professional experience with SAP basic activities within a company or through a consulting activity required

Experience in system integration required

Experience in managing transports and transferring changes to various SAP systems

Experience in dealing with data backup, system recovery and backup strategies within an SAP system

Practical experience in solving SAP-specific problems such as performance problems, system crashes or errors in authorization management

Experience in the installation and configuration of SAP systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA)

Confident written and spoken German and English skills

Willingness to travel to participate in regular project-related team meetings & workshops at the headquarters in Haren (Ems): currently every two weeks from Tuesday to Thursday
