Chief Officer with Jacking experience

Summary

As Chief Officer on board our Jack-up vessels, you are in charge for the navigation team in a 12 hour watch under supervision of the Captain. Serving as the Captain’s right-hand person and acting as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient Jacking operations and deck management.

Your responsibilities

• You co-ordinate the daily deck operations

• You supervise the deck crew

• You are in charge of Jacking operations

• You implement the DEME safety procedures and VMS

• You organize emergency drills

• You analyze incidents and follow up on audits

• You are responsible for navigation and the voyage planning

• You keep the ship’s log and the records up to date

• You are responsible for ballast operations and waste management

• You assist with mobilizations and repairs

Your profile

• You hold a valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate license

• You have proven Jacking experience  

• You have strong leadership skills

• You are proficient in English

• You are willing to work in offshore rotations
