Jan De Nul Group – Dredging
We are looking for temporary support within our HR Crew team to cover a maternity leave from 1 October 2026 through April 2027. An earlier start date is always possible.
Your RoleThe challenging and global projects of Jan De Nul Group require meticulous management and follow-up of our crew. As an HR Administrator, you share responsibility for the planning and monitoring of both European and Asian vessel crew. You will carry out these responsibilities from our office in Aalst.
Your main tasks include:
Crew management and follow-up:
Together with our crewing agencies, you recruit the right people for our vessels.
You schedule crew members on board depending on the vessel’s needs and the crew’s competencies and experience.
You monitor evaluations and potential career opportunities.
You ensure that all crew members receive correct and timely remuneration.
You follow up and validate the invoices from the crewing agencies.
What do you need?
You hold a bachelor’s degree. Preferably, you have one year of experience in HR administration.
English is the main working language on our fleet. It is important that you can communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing.
In this role, you work closely with your colleagues as well as with various departments within Jan De Nul, the vessel crew, and crewing agencies. You are therefore a true team player.
A healthy dose of stress tolerance, flexibility, and accuracy makes you a top HR Administrator.
