Jan De Nul Group – Dredging

Voltijds
Geplaatst op: May 23 2026
Your Work Context

At Jan De Nul Group, you will join an international and technically innovative environment where digitalization and data play an increasingly important role in offshore, dredging, and infrastructure projects. From our headquarters in Hofstade-Aalst, you will contribute to the further development and professionalization of the Microsoft Power Platform within the organization.

In this role, you will mainly work with technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, and Git. You will help build a scalable and secure cloud platform that enables different teams to efficiently develop and manage applications, dashboards, and automations.

The focus of the role goes beyond the platform itself and includes stability, governance, security, and continuity. Several Power Platform initiatives are already running today, but the ambition is to further structure and expand the platform across the organization.

You will work closely with different internal teams and support colleagues in using the platform. You will have a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to help shape standards, governance, and best practices for the future development of the platform.

The position is mainly office-based in Hofstade-Aalst, with collaboration across various national and international projects.

Your Role

Within our ICT department, you will play a key role in the development and support of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, etc.). You will work closely with the business and support teams in building structured, secure, and scalable solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • supporting and advising the business on the use of the Power Platform;
  • helping define best practices, governance, and architectural guidelines;
  • setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git) for Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate;
  • defining and maintaining deployment strategies across multiple environments (dev, test, prod);
  • implementing version control, backup, and lifecycle management;
  • establishing standards around naming conventions, policies, monitoring, and auditing;
  • integrating security and access management with existing IAM solutions;
  • ensuring secure and efficient data integration;
  • monitoring platform usage, performance, and adoption;
  • acting as a link between business, development, and infrastructure teams.

What do you need?

We are looking for a medior to senior profile with strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and a clear vision on how such platforms should be structured and managed within an organization.

You have experience with tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate and are comfortable working in Azure environments, preferably including Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control with Git. Knowledge of deployment strategies, lifecycle management, and governance is important for this role.

In addition, you have a good understanding of security, identity & access management, and data governance to ensure that solutions remain secure, stable, and manageable in the long term. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is considered a strong plus.

Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can work independently, takes ownership, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You work in a structured way, pay attention to detail, and proactively contribute ideas for improvements and standards.

A bachelor’s degree is a plus, but relevant experience and maturity are considered equally important. Dutch is required for this position.
