Your future role
Independent testing and electrical acceptance of container units in accordance with applicable standards and customer specifications
Carrying out visual inspections, insulation measurements, functional tests and safety tests
Creating test reports and documentation in accordance with internal specifications and external standards
Technical interface and contact person for subcontractors during assembly and commissioning
Carrying out electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on modular container units (e.g. e-containers, technical containers)
Connecting and commissioning the containers on ships, in shipyards, port terminals or offshore platforms
Testing the electrical systems (incl. protective measures, earthing, emergency shutdowns) in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. DIN VDE, DNV)
Analysing and rectifying technical faults, including replacing defective components on site and creating service logs to document the work carried out
What you bring to the team
Completed training as an electrician, electronics technician for energy and building technology or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical installation / testing
Safe handling of measuring instruments and knowledge of relevant regulations (DIN VDE, DGUV regulation 3 etc.)
Independent, structured and quality-conscious way of working
Communication and coordination skills in dealing with internal and external project partners
Very good written and spoken German and English
Willingness to undertake project-related travel (e.g. shipyards / offshore assignments; approx. 20 per cent per year)
