Human Resources Administrator

ECE Offshore

Job Summary:

The HR Administrator will be providing essential support to the HR Manager in executing various human resources functions for our organisation. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR-related activities to ensure a smooth and effective HR process at ECE Offshore.

Reports to: HR Manager

Working Hours: 24-32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Preparing and administering payroll, compensation and benefits programs, including allowances.
  2. Recruitment Support: Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews for positions.
  3. Onboarding Assistance: Supporting the onboarding process, including preparing documentation, coordinating training, and facilitating the orientation process.
  4. Offboarding Assistance: Supporting the offboarding process, including preparing documentation, and ensuring all is closed off administratively.
  5. HR Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files, contracts, working hours, and other relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  6. Employee Relations: Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding HR administrative-related queries, concerns, and general support. Escalating complex issues to the HR Manager as needed.
  7. Performance Management: Assisting in the administration of performance evaluation processes, including tracking performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans for staff.
  8. Training Coordination: Supporting the coordination of training programs for personnel, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training and development initiatives.
  9. Health and Safety Compliance: Collaborating with the QHSE team to ensure HR practices align with health and safety regulations and contributing to a secure working environment.
  10. Communication: Facilitating effective communication between HR, management, and employees, ensuring that information is disseminated accurately and in a timely manner.
  11. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant Dutch labour laws, regulations, and industry standards, and assisting in implementing HR policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience in an HR support role, preferably in a similar setting).
  2. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  3. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic working environment.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
