Summary

We are seeking a highly focused, administrative, and detail oriented Operational Buyer to join our SSC PROC OPS (Procurement Operations) team.

The Operational Buyer is responsible for the execution, monitoring and aftercare of the R2P process and managing the purchasing administration, within the guidelines and procedures of the P&L department. Focuses on accurate processing of requisitions, lead time, category strategy, and optimal service level.

Your responsibilities
  • Act and report within the Category Management team;
  • Guided by the Category buyer and Category Manager, perform the procurement of the project low value / non-critical scopes;
  • Provide updated status of the procurement of the low value / non-critical scopes to the Category Buyer and Category Manager;
  • Be responsible for the operational execution of the end-to-end ‘request-to-pay’ process PR check, RFQ, PO creation, PO follow-up ,and invoice issues solving, etc.;
  • Correct application of supply agreements (Terms & Conditions) and optimal use of framework contracts​;
  • Report supplier performance issues to Category Buyers and/or Category Manager;
  • Ensure the correct archiving of all documentation (e.g. certificates, manuals, quotations, scope of work, completed forms and templates, etc);
Your profile
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Procurement, finance, Supply chain, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-12 years of experience in Operational Buying, Procurement Operations, Purchasing Coordinator or Supply chain Management related to procurement.
  • Technical ERP Proficiency: 
    • Direct experience with Ivalua or any other procurement ERP / sourcing platform (strongly preferred)
    • Strong working knowledge of Purchase Orders, Order Confirmations, and R2P workflows
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills especially in PO Deviations, Order Confirmations, PO Revisions, Invoice Discrepancies and Ability to interpret procurement data logically and accurately.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively between SSC, Category Buyers, and Suppliers.
  • Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a degree of "operational ownership" of assigned processes and data.
  • Self-Management: Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and organized workflows.
