Access World is now expanding its portfolio of goods it can handle into the agriculture products such as grain, coffee, cocoa, sugar, rice, tobacco, and is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious:
 
                          Business Development Agri Products
 
FUNCTIE
As Business Development Agri Products, the goal is to attract agriculture clients (traders or Logistic Service Providers) and develop Access World’s products and services to match the agriculture clients wishes. The role coordinates potential leads and works in close cooperation with operations. An important aspect of the role includes analysis of market trends as well as searches for potential investments to increase Access World’s value proposition in the agriculture business.
 
FUNCTIE EISEN

Education
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree (e.g. commercial., marketing or business economics)
 
Languages
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written, in English
  • An additional language (German, Dutch, Italian, French) is preferred


Experience and Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the agriculture products sector in a business development or sales-role is a must-have
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the warehousing and logistics sector

Personal Profile
The ideal candidate is a true hunter and a builder. He/she has an extensive network of contacts in the agriculture industry which can be leveraged for the benefit of Access World. A genuine self-motivator and self-starter, who needs little guidance and support, he/she ensures that senior management is informed of developments in the industry in general, of potential clients and competitors.
