Versatile Fleet
Dockwise operates the largest fleet of specialized vessels of various capacities and designs. Loading and unloading flexibility sets Dockwise apart from most other conventional ocean carriers. The Dockwise fleet shares unique ballasting capabilities for a variety of loading and unloading operations/procedures. By submerging the vessel floating cargoes can be loaded by the float-on/float-off method. Precise ballasting capabilities to maintain a specific level With the quay allow for loading or discharging cargo directly from or onto the quayside. The various loading and discharging procedures include float-on/float-off, roll-on/roil-off, skid-on/skid-off and lift-on/ lift- off or any combination. |

Supported by its in-house engineering and dedicated project management capabilities, Dockwise specializes in the total marine scope for float-over and deck-mating operations. The marine scope includes load-out operation and transportation from the construction site to the field through lowering a fully-integrated topside onto a pre-installed jacket. Using Dockwise vessels, the distance from construction site to field is no longer an obstacle. This greatly increases the freedom of choice of construction site.

Example project: After a 10,400-mile voyage from Koje, Korea to offshore Nigeria via Cape of Good Hope in only 37 days, Black Marlin successfully installed the 18,165-ton east area GN-deck for ExxonMobil by means of the float-over method. Onshore Industrial Projects
Dockwise offers total transport solutions. The total transport scope from fabrication yard to final (in-land) installation can be managed by Dockwise. Combining our specialized heavy cargo fleet with additional services such as tug assistance, land transport and interface management improves the total efficiency and reduces the number of interfaces that has to be managed by the client.

Three shipments by Dockwise vessels for Statoil’s Snøhvit project in the Barentsz Sea. The cooling tower, meg unit and substation were transported by the Swan and Tern respectively. Blue Marlin contributed to this successful project with the transportation of the 33,000-ton process plant.

DOCKWISE VANGUARD
The Dockwise Vanguard is the largest and most innovative semi-submersible vessel ever built. This new addition to the Dockwise fleet is redefining the limits of heavy marine transport. The Dockwise Vanguard, designed by Dockwise, allows for heavy marine transport of large FPSO, SEMI, TLP and Integrated Offshore structures up to a weight of 110,000 MT resulting in improved schedule flexibility, risk mitigation and interface optimization.
TRANSPORT & INSTALLATION
Dockwise offers a total marine scope for offshore platform installations supported by its in-house engineering, procurement and dedicated project management capabilities. This scope includes load-out from fabrication site, transport to the field launching, and installation of jackets and topsides.
